Find the buy to let mortgage best buy deals at Deal Direct
According to recent research data, lenders have increased the number of buy to let mortgage best buy products available to borrowers for deals up to 80 per cent LTV.
Lenders offering 80 per cent LTV buy to let deals include Aldermore Mortgages, Kent Reliance Banking Services, Leeds Building Society, The Mortgage Works, Clydesdale Bank and Saffron Building Society. The products offered range from a 2 year discounted tracker to a 5 year fixed rate mortgage deal.
Market research data from Mortgage Flow, revealed that between December 2008 and May 2010 the highest LTV for a buy to let mortgage best buy was 75 per cent, their latest data shows six lenders are now offering 80 per cent LTV. The first sign of improvement in the buy to let sector came in May 2010 when The Mortgage Works introduced a limited range of buy to let products at 80 per cent LTV. It took a further 9 months for another lender to follow suit which came when Kensington, who have since withdrawn from the buy to let sector, introduced a deal for up to 85 per cent LTV.
According to tenant referencing specialists Landlord Assist, 2012 will see an increase in investment in the buy to let sector. More investors are expected to try to capitalize on growing tenant demand by taking advantage of lenders buy to let mortgage best buy products. Landlord Assist also predict that private rental demand will remain strong for the foreseeable future as home-buyers find it harder to get a deal.
