A 2 year fixed rate mortgage at 2.84% is launched by the Yorkshire BS.
The Yorkshire Building Society recently announced that it is launching a new sub 3% 2 year fixed rate mortgage.
The new mortgage offer is available at 2.84% with a £995 fee, in addition to this new low fixed rate the lender announces its 75% loan to value mortgages have been reduced in price.
For those with access to a 25% deposit, mortgage rates are now almost half a per cent cheaper.
Various tracker and fixed rate products have been cut by 0.45%, and included in the new low rate range is a 2 year fixed rate mortgage available for 75% loan to value at 2.84%. The lender has also included a 3 year fixed rate mortgage in its cut price range at 3.04%.
A Yorkshire BS spokesperson commented on the new range saying that it is focusing on offering excellent customer service and great value for money mortgage deals.
Yorkshire BS has said that it believes its new products offered at low rates, show its commitment and continued support for both existing home-owners wanting to remortgage and new home-buyers wanting to purchase.
