A new contractor mortgage lender enters the market.
A new contractor friendly mortgage lender has announced its intention to launch products based on Leeds BS underwriting.
Deals are available for various fixed rate terms and range highlights include:
- A 5 year fix for 75% LTV at 3.89%.
- A 3 year fix for 80% LTV at 3.49%.
- A 2 year fix for 85% LTV at 3.19%.
Upon application a £199 booking fee is payable to the Leeds, and in addition there is also a completion fee of either £1,300 or £800 which can be added to the mortgage amount.
With the number of self-employed workers and contractors rising, lenders are now having to adjust their mortgage ranges to accommodate this sector. However, it’s still the case that not all lenders look upon contractors in a favourable light.
