Accord's lower deposit mortgage rates rise.

Accord who are part of the Yorkshire Bank Group, has announced an increase to its 95% LTV mortgage rates.

Lower deposit borrowers will now find that mortgages through the lender are marginally more expensive. Its 2 year fixed mortgage rates for up 95% LTV have increased by 0.4%, and rates now start at 4.99%.

It is not the only lender within the Yorkshire Bank Group to have increased its 2 year fixed rates, however its rate has gone up the most. Other group members including Barnsley, Chelsea, Yorkshire and Norwich & Peterborough BS have increased their 2 year fixed rates by 0.1%.

On a more positive note Accord has increased its cashback offer by £250 to £750 on 2 and 5 year fix rate deals for up to 95% LTV.

A spokesperson for the group commented saying that while mortgage rates have slightly increased, the rates they offer are still some of the lowest available throughout the market.
