Some NatWest mortgage products are to be restricted.

Two NatWest mortgage products have been announced as only available through limited channels. Unlike most lenders, where there is advantage in making products as widely available as possible, NatWest has taken the decision to restrict sales of two of its latest products.

NatWest was confirmed as was one of the three lenders who would be participating in the NewBuy scheme when it was officially launched last month. The building society has now announced it has decided to sell NewBuy products only through its call centres.

At the other end of the lending scale, NatWest mortgage distribution is being limited for some of its most recent corporate deals. This includes two-year fixed rate interest-only packages for 60 and 75 per cent loan to value.
