Home-owners are focusing on remortgaging.
The number of home-owners who are remortgaging is on the increase, and it is predicted that numbers will rise even higher over the coming year.
Recent research by the Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks reveals that UK home-owners are focusing on reducing their monthly outgoings. Over 10% of those who were questioned advised that they are looking at remortgaging or plan to over pay their mortgage in the next 12 months.
A spokesperson for the Clydesdale commented on the research advising that a mortgage is probably the largest single financial commitment ever to be made. They added that it was therefore positive to see through the research, that 1 in 10 home-owners are focusing on their mortgage costs.
